I am taking a blogcation for the rest of the week. No new posts until the 31st at the earliest.
I shall leave you with some movie quotes to try and guess.
“You can never go home again, Oatman… but I guess you can shop there. “

“I told you to keep away from that radio. If that battery is dead it’ll have company.”
I’ve seen all 6 of the movies above at least 3 times each. They are some of my favorites.
PS. No cheating by just Googling them, take a stab at them first. If you know all 6 off the top of your head obviously we have similar tastes in movies. Name 2 movies that you think I’d like but may have missed.
I’ll bet I’ve seen every one of those movies, but can’t name a single quote. Except I THINK one of those came from Casablanca, which is one movie I have never seen. How strange if I’m correct.

Wait! Cool Hand Luke? The Lucille quote?
I know that one about walking through the door isn’t from Casa Blanca, but it’s been about 30 years since I heard that line and I can’t remember which movie it was. The one about the Kaiser sounds like it would come from The African Queen, though. That line about Lucille does sound like something Paul Newman’s character in Cool Hand Luke would say and I know I’ve heard that one about luck, but the movie…it escapes me. Of course, Dave, you do know what kind of taste I have in movies, but we do agree on Hudson Hawk. I never did give you the video of it that I got for you! I’ve still got it around here somewhere.
I know for sure there was something similar to that Nepal door line in “Raiders of the Lost Ark”. So that is my guess.

3 correct guesses. The Lucille line is from Cool hand Luke, the Kaiser line is from the African Queen and the Nepal line is from Raiders.
I didn’t get any, and one of the quotes (I googled it) is from one of my favourite movies! And, I loved African Queen and Raiders of the Lost Ark!
Did you see Closer (Natalie Portman, Jude Law, Julia Roberts, Clive Owens)? It wasn’t a great movie, but the scene of Natalie Portman walking down the street at the end is memorable. And the whole “My name is Jane” bit.

John Wayne? For the no such thing as luck quote? Couldn’t remember which movie, I’ve seen so many of them. I’m going to look that one up because it sounds really, really familiar.
Of course, it could also be a quote from Bogey!
Boy, was I way off! And I saw the damned movie too! I just couldn’t place which actor I had heard it from.
